Mechanical Engineers have a lot of options when it comes to what they do.They are responsible for designing engines, generators, robots as wel as everyday items, kitchen appliances and power tools. They are also involved in the making of a product. They do the research to create the product, design the product itself and also the machines that make the product. Sometimes they get involve in selling the product when its highly technical.

Many skills are required from the engineers. They need math and science skills along with the ability to think analytically and deal with creative ideas. They also must be really good at problem solving because is the base of the profession.
