Mechanical Engineers deals with the high-end technology of nowadays.  They desing engines, robots and generators, even everyday items and power tools.  Moreover they have to research about the product, desing the product and desing the machine to make it.  Also if it is high-tech they may need to sell it too.  A mechanical engineer must know excellent maths and science.  Furthermore they need to have the ability to think analytically and deal with creative ideas.  But the most important ability they need to have is to solve problems creatively. So you understand that the job of mechanical engineer is very important and resulting.
